Description

Welcome to 1st Light - a Solar System Simulator that allows you to throw out a thumb and hitch a ride through our incredible solar system. Or, if you prefer, 1st Light can let you become a celestial sculptor, creating any type of solar system you can imagine . You can use 1st Light to bring places you've only read about to life or you could use it to promote your own special warped or educated view of how the galaxy should be. You are only limited by your imagination and of course, the stability of your computer, which we all know can hobble even the best of us - hehe. 1st Light can be downloaded in two different ways: (1) FREE! You can download it for free and enjoy a fully interactive 3D fly-through of our solar system. For example, you can be the first person to fly to Mars or you can fly to Jupiter and see how its moons orbit the massive behemoth. You will also be able to load systems that other people have created and put on the web - not bad for free eh? (2) REGISTER! You can also give us a paltry $19.95 and masterfully create your own solar system - texturing any number of suns, planets, and moons in any way you see fit. You will also be able to apply atmospheres of any sort, real and imaginary to your planet, then apply lighting and highlights. Beyond all that, you can designate the characteristics of your planets and moons and determine their distances from the sun and each other. Best of all, you can create a whole solar system around a sun textured with your own head, thus proving to all who know you that the world truly does revolve around you!!
